North Environmental Forum
On Friday 15th of June the Sudanese Environment Conservation Society (SECS) has launched the North Environmental Forum at Kareema teaching hospital, in collaboration with Youth For The Nation Society (YFTNS) and the development committee of Kareema and its suburbs in the presence of YFTNS members and representatives from the Red Crescent Society.
the forum was chaired by Dr.Mosa’ab Siraj; head of YFTNS, and the speaker was Dr. Eissa Abdullateef; former manager of SECS and he presented an awareness rising lecture entitled “Our well-being in environment well-being” which consisted of many topics such as: the concept of environment, waste management, environmental pollution, and environmental balance.
SECS will continue its activities on the North Environmental Forum in more localities of Northern and River Nile States. There will be environmental forums for every region and will be managed by the local residents.
