Environmental Awareness Campaign on Optimal Use of Natural Resources in Dinder Reserve

In February 2023, the Gedaref branch of the Sudanese Environment Conservation Society, in collaboration with the Higher Council for Environment, conducted an awareness campaign covering 10 villages in Dinder Reserve. The campaign aimed to promote natural resource management, protect biodiversity, and raise environmental awareness and responsible behavior among local communities. It addressed concepts of resource use, natural reserves, and their economic and environmental importance, and included recommendations to encourage education, provide environmentally friendly livelihoods, and invest in eco-tourism and sustainable agriculture.
