Training Courses for Surveying the Inhabitants of Jabal Al-Dair Reserve

In March 2023, the Sudanese Environment Conservation Society conducted two training courses on survey skills for the inhabitants of Jabal Al-Dair Reserve. The first was held in Sadra (March 14–15) with 20 trainees, and the second in Kamla (March 17–18) with 18 trainees. The workshops covered survey concepts, data collection, and practical training, followed by socio-economic field surveys of 305 households. These workshops are part of a project to strengthen the protected areas system and manage integrated ecosystems in Sudan.
