Waste Segregation, Treatment, and Recycling Project
In March 2023, Sudan Zero Waste Organization and MTN Sudan, in collaboration with the Sudanese Environment Conservation Society (SECS) and TAD Company, launched the Waste Segregation, Treatment, and Recycling Project in universities and institutions. The project aims to introduce a source–segregation waste management system, enhance environmental awareness, and promote sustainable consumption practices. It also seeks to create employment opportunities in the waste management sector, build the capacities of youth, and encourage their engagement in recycling value chains, with technical and financial support from SECS.
