A Training course on: Project Preparation and Implementation
In preparation for the Sudanese Environment Conservation Society (SECS) role to address the different environmental problems of the country during the coming transitional phase, it was agreed that capacity building of the volunteers to develop project proposals and work with the communities should be strengthened. The aim is to strengthen capacity and skills of the volunteer members for multi-disciplinary approaches to develop and implement projects with communities. SECS organized a 6-days training course. The training took place in SECS’ training room in Khartoum between the periods 31st August to 6th September 2019.This course aimed at building capacities of the trainees in project preparation and implementation. The training was attended by 25 participants representing SECS’ head quarter volunteers and some SECS’ branches representatives.A training course provided by prof. Suad M. Suliman (Health & Environment Adviser. All candidates were very motivated and actively participated in the general discussions and reflecting on their experiences. Assistance for developing and implementing future studies proposal was assured through SECS.
