SECS and UNEP Conduct Multidimensional Poverty Survey Across 11 Villages in Al‑Rahad
Within the framework of the resilience project, SECS and UNEP conducted a field survey across 11 villages in Al-Rahad Locality around Dinder National Park. The team trained local enumerators and conducted household surveys to measure multidimensional poverty and assess socio-economic conditions.
Additionally, the mission featured awareness activities highlighting the park’s role in protecting biodiversity and conserving natural resources. This initiative successfully links environmental protection with improving local livelihoods and enhancing rural community resilience.
