Hygiene Promotion and Environmental Recovery for Development and Poverty Reduction Project

Hygiene Promotion and Environmental Recovery for Development and Poverty Reduction Project” funded by European Union (Khartoum office), is currently under implementation by Bahry Locality and the Sudanese Environment Conservation Society. The project started by conducting community mobilization activities that included awareness campaigns and public lectures on different environmental issues. Other activities were also conducted, such as training workshops (Community management and environmental citizenship/ Advocacy for environmental issues/TOT on Child to – Child approach and Strategic planning). The project worked hard to promote the awareness on Hygiene and Environmental issues using different types of activities, enhancing the capacities of the main actors at different levels through training, disseminating of information and knowledge related to Hygiene promotion and poverty reduction.
